Our Swift Water Rescue Team serves the citizens of Alamance County, while providing mutual aid to any requesting agency.  The team operates with a total of 12 certified Swift Water Rescue Technicians; 5 basic technicians and 7 advanced technicians.  Hence the words, "Swift Water," the team responds to all Rescue operations and recoveries that take place in moving water, such as the Haw River.  The team is led by Captain William Mauney, EMT-P, ASRT.  Check out some of our team's training pictures in the photos section!
